How much of a gambler am I?

At this point I think we are 12 out of the money in the $1050 event but somehow in the past minute 10 people are out. Button is a big stack and is playing well. He has 90K and I have 11K. He makes it 4K (blinds 500-1000). I shove from big blind knowing he is raising pretty much with any two since he probably thinks I am going to just fold into the money. The 2K doesn't really affect me. He's calling with nearly all hands here since he's just getting 2 to 1. Looking back at this I think I was trying to hard to build a chip stack up and should have just folded. How wild am I?
