Guy Buys My Wife Drinks...Whats My Play?
So my wife who never goes out to bars or anything went to one tonight with ther best friend. Her best friend isnt very attractive and doesnt get many looks. I come home from work at 130am and shes not home. This is odd as she is always home at that time. She comes in a few minutes later. She tells me they went to a bar and some guy bought her and her best friend drinks all night long. Now this makes no sense to me, as the BF is not attractive at all, and my wife is. Why would this guy buy drinks for both of them all nite long at a place where alcohol is way overpriced? So i get angry that she let a guy buy her drinks, and she starts another fight about it not being ok for her to out this late but its fine for me. I suppose shes refering to poker, but when im playing poker guys arent buying me drinks.
Am i overacting by being upset here? Do i simmer down and forget about it, or is this signs to more trouble? Im 25 and wife is 22. |

Guys don't buy girls drinks all night long because they're nice guys.
Girls don't accept drinks from guys all night long because they think they're nice guys. Sounds like a sign of trouble. $50 digits were exchanged by at least one party. |

So you got upset your wife had some other guy spend his money, instead of yours, on alcohol. She didn't [censored] him, she didn't kiss him, she has no affection for him whatsoever. You're $30-50 richer because of this dude. You should buy him a drink.

yeah forget it. guys will buy girls drinks unsolicited all the time. he was probably buying for your wife but she was probably trying to help her friend. if she makes it a habit start worrying. it's ok that you got worked up about it, it shows you care, just simmer down and tell her you're sorry later, that you trust her, that you just value her a lot etc. obv you wouldn't be getting jealous if she wasn't important to you.
