Default Gambooling != Poker

Okay, this is not really a poker post because what I was doing was not poker, it was gambooling pure and simple. I put a grand on full tilt and sat short handed at 25/50NL.

I have 2 questions. First, with 20BBs 3 handed roughly where do we want to commit ourselves in terms of starting hands. I went with AK and 55+ and also raised from the button with suited connectors 67 and up but would fold to a reraise.

Now as I said, I know this is not poker the way you guys play it, but if you have any thoughts on playing shortstacked and shorthanded I'd love to hear about it.

Second question is even less poker-related: why do mirrors flip reflections left and right, but not top and bottom?

Thanks in advance!

Shortstacks blow.

A mirror doesn't "flip" anything, which is why it looks flipped when displayed back.

If your head looked like your feet, up would not be up in a mirror.

b/c mirrors that accurately replicate size and shape are very flat. and light travels in straight lines from the mirror to yourself. that is why bent and curved mirrors project distorted images. word.

If you put a mirror above your head, your head would be down and your feet up.

Three handed? I'd push over a raise with 66+, AK, AQ. I'd open and call a push with 99+, AK. I'd open and fold to a push with any pair, any ace, KT+, and suited connectors and suited one gappers 57 and up.

But I don't play high stakes or three handed, so this advice is probably crap.
