Default What\'s going to happen this week?

As I understand it:
1) DoD has wording to stop funding for online casinos/pokerrooms
2) this bill will go through
3) to be voted on tues/wednesday

What are the realistic odds that the wording is going to get changed?

What will happen to poker rooms? Should i get my funds out? Will the games get too dry to play? What is the time line that we're looking at here?

From the updates on Friday, it sounds like the DoD bill does NOT yet have wording on internet gambling. Frist & Co are pushing for it hard however and are apparently gaining a lot of momentum in this effort.

What does this mean? I read it in yesterday, too. Does this mean Warner and Levin are close to caving? If so, how would anyone know this?

Man I've been so out of the loop. Since when did the DoD say to stop funding online casinos?

People need to start citing thier resources.

I've read the appropriations bill on the senate website, and it does not include any language that I can see that includes any prohibitions on financial transactions to offshore gaming companies. I'm not a lawyer, so I could have missed it, though. All the news I've read on the subject say that it failed. We'll know for sure this week.

Is it even feasable that this could be added into law without any discussion on the Senate floor?

It is the authorization bill not the appropriations bill.
