Re: Going all in with lowest set
Reload PF. Standard PFR is 4xBB+1BB per limper. With one poster behind you I raise 5xBB here.
Bet full pot on the flop and 3bet AI (especially with your shorter stack). So many good hands/draws that you beat here (AK, AQ, AJ, QJ, plus flush/straight/combo draws). |

pot this preflop.
b/3b pot on the flop to get value and force out draws. |

Re: Going all in with lowest set
at Micro stakes it is entirely superstandard to get all in whenever you flop a set for 100BB's.
Sometimes you get called by higher sets - this is OK. Sometimes you get called here by the straight - this is OK as well as we have outs to beat the straight. Often you will get called here by draws that will miss by TP type hands or 2pair which you have crushed so in the long run getting allin with a flopped set on any flop is +++EV. |

Re: Going all in with lowest set
Scary board, but I'd push as well. (Just hope your not up against a higher set or str8) As previous poster mentioned, it's +EV. You likely to have the best hand off the flop.

Further, I don't get many callers with larger raises. Should I be aiming for HU or 2 callers at most with high pockets UTG? Can someone please direct me to a source that lays out what range of hands I should call/raise with in each position? |
