Probably in your head.
Was on vicodin for nearly 9 months. Came off it a few months ago. Playing well as ever. However, euphoria + depressant effect on central nervous system could possibly help with remaining content with the grind and avoiding tilt. |

I knew alot of guys who took that when they played. One guy used to wash it down with whiskey. They used to peddle it thruout the poker room.

I think vicodin does help a lot
It seems to numb the effect of huge hits and tilt. And helps with concentration. unfortunately it has negative effects on other parts of your life |

Vicodin and Poker? Yes I like them both. lol
Not together though. It will probably make you FEEL like you play better, it will proably make you FEEL like whatever you do while on it you are doing better. It def impairs judgement. |

Well I don't know about the Big V, but I can tell you what works really well.
We have a Wednesday re-buy for $50. About 40 to 60 people come. We start with 1,500 chips and blinds go up every 20 minutes. So it's a real crap shoot from start to end due to blind pressure. Here is the trick. I get really stoned before I play and then use 'loose rebuy strategy.' Being high, playing crazy-loose, convinces people I am a maniac. As the high gradually wears off I tighten up. So I have fun when I should have fun and get serious gradually. If you have not tried this then I highly recommend it for re-buys. Good luck. |
