Details can be found on Card Player here. The article mentions a possible new NBC project Shana could've been involved with, "Poker After Dark", which seems like a Late Night Poker ripoff. Anyone out there heard of the project?

She's got a cult following. Glad the path's clear.

Is it known to whether Shana quit or was released (fired) from her contract with WPT?

WPT is claiming the non-compete part of the contract is still enforceable. Hiatt is claiming that she never signed the contract that had the non compete and also California law basically considers contracts with them void.

There really is a picture of Steve Lipscomb next to "Napolean Complex" in the dictionary, isn't there?
Geez. Good for Shana. |

"Poker After Dark", which seems like a Late Night Poker ripoff. [/ QUOTE ] Sounds more like a game of strip poker than anything on FSN. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, they are completely unenforceable against former employees in California. (They are enforceable only against former shareholders or partners who signed a non-compete agreement in conjunction with the sale of his interest in the business.) |
