just curious about this (probably standard) river decision
hero is multitabling TAG pre, something like 24/18 or so, a little crazy preflop sometimes but mostly standard postflop.
villain is also a multitabling TAG, 24/20 this session. moody player - spews and tilts sometimes, plays decent when winning. he seems to be winning today i'm not hero. effective stacks 1000 hero opens to 33 utg+2 with AsQd, villain calls in co flop Qh7sTc hero bets 60, villain calls. turn 6c hero bets 166, villain calls. river Ac hero? |

Looks like a super standard bet/fold.

Re: just curious about this (probably standard) river decision
i was hero in this hand, and what i did on the river had a LOT to do with my perception of this specific villain.

requin,
is there any reason to bet here? about a psb left krantz, what is your standard line here against a "more standard" tag |

[ QUOTE ]
i would check/fold [/ QUOTE ] am i missing something? you made top two on river and you want to c/f against someone that just called flop and turn. at the very least i would think c/c or b/f. edit: nevermind, going over the hand some more and i guess i don't see much you can beat from tags. |

Re: just curious about this (probably standard) river decision
i honestly shoved because i thought villain would pay me off with a bunch of worse hands he could have called flop and turn with, and because i would shove if i were 3-barreling and thought he'd be thinking about this too and possibly make a big call

Re: just curious about this (probably standard) river decision
against a spewy/aggro opponent, bet/fold seems like a pretty bad idea since he's liable to shove over the top on a bluff or something (esp with these stack sizes).
check/call seems like a decent option to me. But this situation is definitely one that'll depend a lot on the particular opponent and your reads. these hero/villain-switcheroo posts always confuse me, too... |

Re: just curious about this (probably standard) river decision
Oh you guys are right, we are alot shallower than I thought. Still I don't think I'd fold against many people, I'd c/c.
