Default NCSU employee caught playing online poker

I was just reading this article and it dawned on me that maybe we need to email the university and complain.

They say this "It is against the law in North Carolina to bet on games of chance, and it is against NCSU rules to use a state computer for personal gain."

Who the hell said poker is a game of chance? Is N. Carolina one of the 4 or 5 states that bans online gambling outright?

Should be bombard their inboxes??

That computer is property of NC State and they can do whatever they want to with it.

but even so (assuming a winner player) a state computer is still being used for personal gain... so I don't think it makes much difference.

There is legal precedence that poker is a game of skill.

They say it cant be used for personal gain, AND poker is a game of chance. Seems slightly contradictory.
