Weird Hand Thing
If I attempt to bring my pinky finger on my left (domaniant for writing and eating, not for sports) towards my plam, the ring finger next to it moves too, like they're tied together by some tendon or something. The ring finger itself can move totally independent of the pinky, but when the pinky moves "in" at all, it's coming along. If I hold on to the ring to keep it still, and move the pinky, I can feel stress and the pinky won't reach all the way to my plam.
On my right hand, if I do the same, there's some movement in the finger, mostly above the first nuckle, but it's able to stay where it belongs, whereas with the other hand the movement is totally involuntary. It's always been like this, and it doesn't really get in the way of anything, so I've never bothered to ask, but like- is this standard or am I mutant? |
