Default Let kings go?

What do think about playing this hand?

11 of 45 players remaining. 7 places get paid. Average stack $6,100
Blinds 200/400, Ante 25
SB $11,235
BB (me) $8,035
A $12,265
B $4,690
C $3,255
I hold KcKs.
A and B fold.
C raises $800 to $1,200.
SB raises $2,400 to $3,600.
Should I fold, call, raise, or go all-in?
I went all-in, C folded, SB called.
SB won the showdown with AA.

Tom,

This is a nice first post. I like it because it's results orientated and it is going to get flamed by about 9 other posters. I like it because you are at the very beginning of your 2+2 experience, and a few hundred posts later, you will be answering questions like this with due sarcasm and, if it's your style, profanity. You've created a little nostalgia for yourself.

Also, it's really nice because you didn't use a converter and you labled your opponents A, B, and C. Though, you did mention stack sizes and remaining players and such, which is more than what I can say for some posters here.

Welcome to 2+2. Be sure to check out "Brags, Beats, and Variance" on your way out.

I'd tell you to post this in BBV, but you're going to get even harsher treatment there. Sorry you ran into AA, tough luck. You're nowhere near deep enough to let go of KK here.

Don't post like this

1) Read the FAQ
2) Take raw HH and use a converter
3) Don't post results
4) Don't post 'should I fold AA/KK' hands unless there is a legitamite tough spot such as raise re-raise AI you, even then I would be hard pressed to throw these away
5) Reads
6) Your playing style

You won't get many replies because of the things above...

Tom,

Well, Silver hit most of the major points I see. So let me just say this... please read the FAQ at the top of this forum. It will assist you in your future here in the MTT forum.

And to answer your question, you did nothing wrong in this hand. You just got unlucky holding KK. It happens to the best of us. Folding KK pre-flop because you are afraid someone else has Aces is a great way to lose tons of money in the long run. The only way you should ever fold KK pre-flop is if you are really, really deep stacked and a complete rock puts in like the fourth raise or something. Then, you could consider it. In this situation here though, you're just giving money away if you do it.

Poker is about making correct decisions, and results be damned. You made the right one.

Welcome to the forums.

Haha, I guess I'm losing my reputation as an argumentative [censored] (if I even had one to begin with). Well played.
