Default Online Poker Being Outlawed

I can't imagine not being able to play online poker. We should all email the big poker sites and ask them to help fight the anti-poker bill coming up. Even though they are off shore they can still remind all of the people that play on their sites to contact their senators and other gov. officials. If they can announce tournaments, than it wont be very hard to make similar announcements to remind players to fight the anti-poker legislation. They should also donate a portion of their rake to go towards lobbying and advertising against the bill.

I think if online poker is outlawed, there will be a great migration to vegas and atlanta

i think there is a sticky about this on the top of the SSNL forums.

If online poker is outlawed, I'm probably not going to play at all anymore.

So, if we make something illegal that isn't really a crime, do we still create real criminals?

Something tells me that the online poker companies are aware of this already.

The idea that a billion dollar company would need people like us to let them know that their product might become illegal in their most lucrative market is very funny. On the other hand, we are talking about a companies like party poker who don't seem to give a dickshit about anything.

Thanks for the news flash, Jimmy Olson. There is only an entire FORUM dedicated to this topic and a sticky at the top of most every other forum.
