Default Should You Go With Your Read all the Way?

Ok so i just saw the villain in this hand min raise someone with two pair and half pot it with top pair. But im fairly new to the table.

Its a 10 dollar stars donkament and im probably 50 out of 180. Do you think this was an acceptable way to play this hand based on reads.

Did i not extract enough value from the hand. Or could i even consider folding TPTK based on my read.

Looks good to me. Let him trap himself.

You're not really taking it "all the way" but you showed weakness on the turn, which could be why he's betting, or he might have you beat. I couldn't fold with those odds and that good of a hand. Mind telling what he ended up having? It smells like a blocking bet to me.

Hah, I didn't think you'd post if you won the hand. He played the hand very strangely, but he might have been trying to check raise the turn. You still can't fold.

Overall im happy with how i played the hand. I dont really think folding the river is possible.

However, when i saw him min bet the flop the first thing that popped in my head was QJ (top two pair). So i dont know i think i played it well. I guess it shows its good to play defensively on occassion if your read says too.

it is a 10 clam event so you expect odd play.
the interesting thing is if he pre flopped reraised or bet more into me he could have had my whole stack.

ALWAYS go with your read regardless.
If you are wrong, you will learn to refine your reads.
If you are right, you will gain confidence in your play.

If he had KK and you lost the minimum, well played. If he had a 2nd best hand you probably couldn't get a lot more out of him. So I don't mind this at all.
