Default How many hands is enough?

What is a large enough number of hands within your hand history to have before you can gauge the success of your play at a specific level without being dramatically altered by short-term variance? Thanks

50k should be good enough, 100k would be better, 500k if you want to be really sure.

It depends if you are getting the best or the worst of the short term varaince. If you are winning over those 50k hands you will likely move up. If you are losing its more likely you will stick around to see if you are a losing player or just on a bad streak.
