any successful high stakes playrs play without trackers or software?

Im truly curious about this. Am I the only player in world who is playing online poker without any type of outside software? It surely feels like it. Before you guys ask, yes im a winning player.. My main games are high stakes sngs (well 109s and 215s), $150+ mtt's and as of late $5-$10NL. I only 3-table, sometimes 2 table, lol. I realize im rare in that aspect. Keep in mind im not in my 20's and just have a hard time playing more than 2-3 tables.

Anyways, I don't feel like im giving up anything by playing without it. I feel like when I 2-3 table just playing based on simple math, instincts, reads, and notes is enough. Anyone else have any opinions?

I will admit that I think I could definetly benefit from poker tracker purely for recordkeeping. I don't know exactly my win rates, however I do an idea. Also, it could make things much easier for tax purposes, but thats a different story and I have other methods for book keeping.

i dont use software while im playing, i just use PT to review my play

i use PT on party when i play there but i play on some other sites where it doesn't work. same situation, playing one or two tables of mid - high NL or tournaments. i think it's essential if you play more tables, hell even with two i miss it.

I know heaps of players who don't. I use it just to record data after but don't really use a hud. I know lots of europeans who don't use anything.

I dont use Player view or stuff like that but I do have very in depth personal stats of my +/- and what not and Im playing 10/20.

Until recently I only used Pokertracker as a recordkeeper, not really for statistics. Now I have started using Pokerace HUD, but I do not know if I will keep using it.

this is exactly what i was looking for. i just assumed everyone used pokertracker. maybe i will purchase it soon just for the record keeping aspect.

do you use it while playing? to check preflop raises, showdowns win % etc? or only to check your $ wins and losses?

also, I don't have RB, but isnt pokertracker really the only way to track RB?

Like I said, I used to use almost exclusively for record keeping. Just to see how much I was winning/losing. But now I am starting to use it in game to see ppl's vpip/pfr and such, although I am very bad at analyzing stats so I still don't really rely on it. I do not actively check players cbet% and things like that, although after a session I may look up what stats I have on some regulars and see some details about how they play.

Yeah - I'm a passive user of it and don't really use it while I play anymore unles I'm 4+ tabling (I usually just play 2-3). Not sure how much it helps and it's sort of a pain, but I do like being able to see how much I've been raising at a certain table, etc.
