John Vorhaus is the author, Wheaton only writes the foreword. The original Killer Poker book spawned a strategy book, a workbook, and now this second volume. I like Vorhaus' online articles and his writing style is entertaining, but don't expect anything groundbreaking you didn't already know. He does have a No-Limit book coming out in Mar 2007 that might be interesting.

I read some of the other books by the author. There is no way he is even a winning poker player. Do not waste your time or your money.

As mentioned, Wil Wheaton just wrote the forward to this so-so book by Jon Vorhaus (there were a couple of interesting philosophical ideas towards online play, but nothing in the form of hard strategy).
However, Wil Wheaton has written a surprisingly excellent semi-autobiographical book based on his blog called "Just a Geek." Candid, honest, and very entertaining -- not just for Trekkies. |

don't buy it. John Vorhaus is not much of a poker player.

Volume 1 in a nutshell:
"Don't be a pussy, raise." |
