I might be looking to stake somebody in this party BJ promo (many others will probably want to do this so this thread could help many people). aka I would give 2k dollars to a friend to play with and at the end he gets to keep a certain amount. What would be a fair amount for him to keep?

This should be easy for a math geek but I think given the variance he shouldnt keep that much. Perhaps 25% or something.
edit: This is given he plays the 5k possible hands. If its only 1k hands I think 5% or something. |

isn't thatstill -EV? even with the promo? are you just hoping to end up on the +side of variance? there Is a blackjack game that is +ev always w/o a bonnus...
