50NL 6 Max, Trips TK facing all in
Villain was running around 60/10 at the time (over ~65 hands). Hadnt noticed anything special from him, minus that I had noted to not bluff and to value bet him from previous sessions.
~ 85% of the time I raise this PF but due to dynamics with this opponent I chose to just check. I can also see an argument betting the flop. Re: 50NL 6 Max, Trips TK facing all in
Being that it is a blind battle you are probably ahead a significant time here so call the all in.

Re: 50NL 6 Max, Trips TK facing all in
What would be "villians dynamic" to advocate for a check pf here?
He is so loose, just raise for value. As played, i'm calling. |

Re: 50NL 6 Max, Trips TK facing all in
I put villain on a worse T at best. I think with a flopped set/two pair he bets out either flop or turn.
I call happily. If he slowplayed KK, 88, KT, T8 so be it. rest of hand: i raise preflop with ATo in this situation, I also bet he flop and don't like the overbet on the turn. |

Re: 50NL 6 Max, Trips TK facing all in
well he was in the BB so you have to think of a range of hands that beats you that the SB would check. I doubt he'd check Ks preflop. He could have King 10 that he slowplayed the whole way. He also could have 8 10. Could also have 10 2. Granted its unlikely cause you're short handed that he has the other 10. Very unlikely but maybe pocket 2s. I really doubt he'd call on the turn with just pocket 2s but the way internet players play these days...who knows. Ive seen a lot of people shove in here on bluffs. I would say he's bluffing 1/3 of the time. 3 possible holdings are: King 10, 10 8, a weaker 10. Honestly, even if you feel you're beat, you basically have to call. You're getting 2:1 on your money, its short handed and a lot of people are wreckless on the internet.

Re: 50NL 6 Max, Trips TK facing all in
OK this was posted more for a sanity check than anything.
I almost timed out thinking about it but I ended up calling and he had KK so MHING. This isn't being results oriented, I was just making sure that the majority here call too. Me not raising PF was due to the fact that I had virtually no FE against this opponent PF or post flop. I saw no need to raise due to the fact that regardless of the size of the pot I'd still be able to extract an ~equal amount if I hit a big hand. If this is flawed though, I'm more than open to rebuttles to this line of reasoning. I considered the overbet on the turn to be the same as a PSB in this situation. |

Re: 50NL 6 Max, Trips TK facing all in
Preflop: we have position, so I raise.
Flop: cbet (esp. since we raised pf) Turn: pot it River: Money goes in I don't think sb slowplays 2pair on flop. |
