Default Pink/Sunday Night Football on NBC

I can't decide if she is extremely hot, or fugly.

The whole thing is a big time rip off of Hank Williams Jr. on the Monday night football intros. You'd think NBC could have thought of something original.

Still, Pink > Hank Williams, I guess.

Pink is hit or miss in looks.

But do we need a song every week than has a line or two about the current game (Pink, Williams, I think Tim McGraw for a few months)? Can't we just have one song and stick with it?

One of my pet peeves when it comes to sports coverage in general, is the "intro"

It's always some [censored] pointless "human interest" angle on someone, or some over edited video with cheesy music.

Just STFU and show us the game, match or whatever.

Pink is more attractive then Hank Williams, however Hank's song was significantly better than Pink's.

I dunno, the songs sound kind of similar to me.

Pink just strikes me as an odd choice for the intro of a football game.

There should just be a box in the corner with the line on the game, and how many more minutes you have to get a bet in.

Not that the sanctimonious NFL would ever go for it, but I think I have seen a crawler in the Arena football pregame that included the lines.

Agreed. Not only do I think the song is horrible (seems like a half-assed, unnatural, poorly put together effort), but her doing it just seems to entirely contradict her bad-ass, IDGAF attitude.

In effect, she's selling out.

I had a similar conversation with a friend of mine. I think she is fugly. So the quesiton is: Is she "supposed" to be attractive?

Some people, whether or not you think they are attractive, are "supposed" to be attractive. I.e., they are considered attractive by the popular press.

An example would be Sarah Jessica Parker. Most of OOT considers her ugly. But they way she dresses and the way she is presented, she is "supposed" to be pretty.

Is Pink supposed to be an attractive person? If not, why the hell is she doing the intro to a football show?
