OK, who's up for this in less than an hour?

What is your early strategy bearing in mind it is possible to (almost) fold into the top 2000 and get the ticket to the monthly???

I'm probably just going to play nitty until the 2000 mark then go nuts. If a bust, great, if I build up a ton of chips, then what the hell, I'll go for it.

But at the 2000 mark, and only the top 10 or so prizes being worth anything.. hard to bother.

Doubled up in the first 10 minutes when I flopped a flush and got paid off. Almost tempted to walk away now since with 6000 chips a ticket to the monthly is guarenteed! [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

But since I got nothing else to do today anyway......

Lost some chips (2 pair to flush), got some back calling down a couple bluffs.

At what point in the tournament do they usually hit the 2k mark? One level past the break or so?

I'm down to 2000 chips after losing JJ vs TT.... Do I have a chance of folding to 2000 here or do I have to play?

With these blinds now, I'd say you're right on the edge. But could probably make it if you wanted to.

Stalling every hand you could probably fold into the top 2000

I'm up to 7879 after AA > QQ all in preflop

Well, I got aces, and as I should've suspected, that was my doom. Whenever I see the other person flip over like 33 when I have aces on party, I have a total sense of dread. I should be happy, but...

Every time I put substantial chips in I was a huge favorite.
