i think its somewhere close to sicily but i could be very wrong

Because the average wage in Malta is like 5000 lira a year ($15,000 I think)

because the apartment is one of ten kajillion crammed into a small area,

because Malta is a pain in the ass country to actually live in (it's closer to third world status than Thailand for some things)

that said, it's not all bad but I'm glad I don't live there any more.
