Always call to induce the mistake of your opponent always betting when he has the initiative

Re: pf poll
I don't see a whole heck of a lot of value in discussing this but I'm sure you do. Maybe you could tell us and make our decisions a little more informed?

Re: pf poll
"Usually", rather than "Always", would have made the question easier to awnser.
It depends mostly on what cards I have and if I can knock anyone out or not with a cap. |

Re: pf poll
If I had to choose one, which obviously is stupid, I would always call. Why? Because the flop tells me how far I want to go with my hand, and Id rather save my extra bets for after I have more information.

Re: pf poll
Always calling in the second case is fine unless the guy's a crazy.

Re: pf poll
I think a pertinent element to these scenarios is the fact that whoever puts the last raise in pf is going to bet 95% of flops and probably 60-80% of turns.
the question is - when do we want that guy to be us, and when do we want it to be him? Since we have to play our monsters in a similar manner to our trash hands, which strategy will work best over time. qualifying with reads is fine. |
