Default 15/30 Live. 85s turn play

Great 15/30 table at the Bellagio. Lots of weak tight nits, a couple clueless laggy's, and one good player. People play too many hands and peel the flop and turn, though often fold the river when their measly draws don't come in.

UTG+1 is an old guy with pursed lips that seems to have a standard line for every hand he plays: limp PF, bet or raise flop if he hits anything. This includes everything but AA-TT. AK even takes this line. He is too loose, constantly limping EP with stuff like A7o and JTo. As long as he still has the initiative, he just keeps betting if he hits any pair or better postflop. Oddly enough, against many of these players, this coincides with correct strategy and he is doing well taking down the pot on the river against a bunch of nits.

CO is a clueless player. Plays roughly 80% of his hands, raises only with big pairs, and only gets agressive on the turn. It appears he read some book and mistook 'waiting for the turn to raise' to mean every hand. No clue how to protect on the flop, and doesn't know how to value bet a river. He generally calls down if someone else has the initiative. Great to value bet against, but unbluffable.

Hero is dealt 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in BB

UTG+1 limps, UTG+2 limps, MP2 limps, HJ limps, CO limps, Hero checks.

Flop (6.5 SB) T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero checks, UTG+1 of course bets, MP2 calls, CO calls, I call getting 9.5/1 + implied odds for gutshot and backdoor.

Turn (4.5 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP2 folds, CO raises, Hero 3-bets...

You like? Or would betting out be better? Why?

yeah he wasn't really questioning the 3bet, just turn check rather than betting out.

yeah i know, but it just amuses me that people post hands where they have like the nuts. it is pretty hard to misplay the nuts given your options and one line or the other does not matter *that* much in the scheme of things.

I'm aware of this, but my question was not about its cosmic significance, just about a tiny turn decision, because responses will make me a better poker player. Is that a problem?
