Re: fold 2 sets flush on board..
don't raise the flop, what can he call with that you have beat? AQxx? 66xx? Just call and hope to fill up / get too showdown for not too big a pot if you don't improve.
The 4 on the turn was a bad card for you btw. |

Re: fold 2 sets flush on board..
I'd raise preflop.
Flop raise is good. Turn fold is good. Sometimes I don't raise the flop. Pretty standard. "don't raise the flop, what can he call with that you have beat? AQxx? 66xx? Just call and hope to fill up / get too showdown for not too big a pot if you don't improve. " lol |

Re: fold 2 sets flush on board..
standard except for this "all_in_lam88 folds, showing 4s Qs 4d Qd"
I don't know why you would want to show in this spot. |

Re: fold 2 sets flush on board..
new scenario: the poster pots it preflop, someone else down the line re-raises to $5. He has a $45 stack, versus your $15. Unknown player, can't tell if he's someone who only re-raises preflop with AAxx or what.
Call it with QQ44 double suited? Sure. why not. Same flop hits -- now what do you do? So, same question, but someone has re-reaised you preflop, and you have no good read on him. No good read = revert to standard play? which would be... |

Re: fold 2 sets flush on board..
I'm guessing in that position, you're pretty screwed if your opponent will follow up with a pot on the flop. On the other hand, and maybe people will disagree with me, if you have a big enough bankroll it might not hurt to do a re-raise at him if you think he's trying to bluff AAxx or playing top two, bottom two, bottom set.. or top pair at you.
