50/100 online

LAG Hijack opens (not much history with him personally but have seen enough to know he's a LAG), v. fishy LP sb semi cold calls,

I call in the bb with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] - 3 to the flop.

The flop is T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

sb checks, I check, LAG bets, sb calls, I check/raise, LAG 3-bets, sb folds, I call.

The turn is 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I check, LAG checks.

The river is the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet...

I dunno, I felt like the LP sb would call the flop with any A-high/overcards so I wasn't too worried about him. If he caught a pair he was coldcalling the flop regardless if I bet and the LAG raised, so I figured wtf and c/r'd. I kinda thought he was capable of 3-betting the flop for a free card but wasn't sure.

Anything you'd do differently? Lead the flop? Bet the turn? are you calling a raise? If so, river line UI?

this is precisely how i play it, nice. the river bet might not have much value though because ace high shouldnt be calling after a gutshot filling card hits. its hard to imagine you dont have a pair at this point so unless hes truly good i think the bet is right.

thanks. I normally don't play this high but when I saw an open seat on the left of said sb, I figured I could take a shot.

you're spot on about the river bet not having much value, that was another area I wasn't sure about (he folded the river). I'm surprised that you don't mind giving a free card in this spot though. After the hand, I felt like I should have gotten another bet out of him is all...otoh, paying another 2 bbs to show this down kinda sucks too.
