Turn Play with AA + NFD
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)
SB ($50.10) BB ($53.75) UTG ($46.25) Hero ($50) CO ($54.33) Button ($39.33) Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG folds, Hero raises to $2, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls $1.50. Flop: ($4.25) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero bets $4, UTG calls $4. Turn: ($12.25) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero bets $8, BB raises to $20, Villian is 43/12/3 and seems capable of making a move. 1) Do you like betting the turn or checking behind here? Why either way? 2) After he reraises, what is your plan? Call here? Push here? No one says fold, I hope. 3) If you just call the turn, what is your river play unimproved if villian pushes? We have $33 on river if we call turn. If the T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] comes off? What about the 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]? |

Re: Turn Play with AA + NFD
I'd probably call and fold to a river push if I don't improve. I don't see many hands worse than ours making this kind of flop c/c, turn c/r move, but at the same time we're getting 3.3-1 immediate odds and even better implied odds so I can't see a turn fold.

Re: Turn Play with AA + NFD
Betting this turn is good. I think You can call the turn and see a river (obviously evaluating if you improve/dont improve/etc).

Re: Turn Play with AA + NFD
orange, why is betting the turn good? we have the nfd, and basically we will fold out worse hands and lose more money to better hands.
