AJs at home game
Hero (~$30)
BB (~$13) UTG MP CO Button BB is $0.25 in this game. Hero is in SB with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 folds, Hero raises to $1.20, BB calls $1. Flop: ($2.40) J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero bets $1.60, BB raises to $3.60, Hero calls. Turn: ($9.60) Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero checks, BB bets $8.20 (all-in), Hero? BB is a pretty solid player. This is the first week he's played in our game. He hasn't shown a bluff. My initial thought with his flop bet was he was holding J 10 for two pair, or a lone pair of Jacks. He had been raising PPs in position, so I ruled out sets and overpairs. What do you think of the flop call? Is the turn an easy call as it stands? Should I put him all-in on the turn instead of giving him the option, for FE? |

Re: AJs at home game
Against a shortstack I like your flop call with the intention of CR the turn all-in. Easy call when he puts you all-in since you have a boatload of outs and your hand may still be good.

Re: AJs at home game
Am I the only one who thought this thread was going to be about a home game AJ was hosting?
