How do I find out if a hand is in the top ten percent of all hands?
If I know someone raises with 5% or 10& of his hands is there some way to see what the top five percent or ten percent of cards are, so I can get some kind of rough idea what his raising standards might be? (knowing, of course that it will be position dependent.)

You might find this software very useful:
http://www.pokerstove.com/ You can choose opponents hands range (Top X%, Pairs, suited, etc) and calculate your equity as well. You might check your Poker Tracker stats about that opponent and grasp a better idea about position. |

It's about interpreting information and trying to gauge what it really means if a guy raises fifteen percent of his hands. |

What do you mean by "top"? Is it "best chance to beat a random hand heads-up on the river?" Is it "best chance to win against a random 10-handed table by the river?"

I tried to develop a more realistic ordering of hands for omaha, hold'em, and omaha-8. Details can be found here (at least, once blogger.com finished their server maintenance) |

PokerStove ranks 99 ahead of AKo. Is that right?
