Default Wongboys Week 3 CFB picks

Short and sweet. Two games this week.

Washington State -12.5 vs Baylor

This is a big game for the Cougars as they are playing in Seattle. The biggest concentration of Cougar Alums are in Seattle and this will be the only chance for many Alums to see a game this year. I see the Cougs pulling out all stops and running up the score big this week against Baylor.

Fresno State -3.5 at Washington

Fresno State will have a field day against a hapless UW team that has limited talent and has not yet demonstrated that they can put out a decent effort, much less win. I see the Huskies keeping this one close through the first half, then fading down the stretch and losing by double digits.

My knowledge is limited in breadth (and some would say depth).

With that northwest focus, can you extend a state south? I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on Oregon/Oklahoma...

I am not sure what to make of that game and so I am staying away. Both teams have looked worse than I expected. I was surprised by the weak performance out of Oklahomas defense last week, especially in the first half. Likewise Oregon also looked poor.

Autzen stadium provides a huge home field advantage for the Ducks, but I like the Sooners chances if they can manage to get it together. If I had to make a bet, it would be a slight lean to the Sooners +4.5, but I am not betting this one.

Considering how much money you made me over the last two weeks, I take this as a great compliment.
