Default played too soft ?? Did i butcher this hand?

Confused if this should be mucked preflop, played harder or played alright

live 15-30 at Canterbury
i have a TAG / maybe 2 tight image and havent played a hand (minus blinds) in 2 orbits or so...

SB is decent but seems tiltish as his JJ set got rivered by str8
MP2 is Lag/ lag tard who has called 3 cold in late middle with 5 6 suited
UTG seems pretty solid and is a regular

UTG calls, I make it 2 bets behind him, MP2 calls, SB calls, UTG 3 bets, --i call ?-- MP2 calls, SB calls

flop A J 6 rainbow

Sb checks
UTG leads
I 2 bet
MP 3 bets
Sb folds
UTG makes it 4 almost instantly
-i call- ?
MP2 calls

6c making 2 clubs on board

UTG leads again
i 2 bet again
MP2 calls
UTG 3 bets again
i call ???
MP2 calls

river 2h
UTG leads
I call
MP2 calls

Is this played too soft? I defiantly put UTG on aces so I slowed way down. Is this wayyy too much credit? How is my play on all streets?

if you have JJ or AJ this looks fine. since the tone of your posts indicates you won i'd say UTG isn't as TAG as you think and way overplays his hands

It's a 4bet cap? This is fine. I think raising any more would be spewing.

I'm guessing villain had AcKc and he overplayed his hand.

I think you played the hand well. The only hands I am worried about are a set of Jacks and quad 6's, although 3-betting with pocket 6's is weak pre-flop and against your read of the UTG raiser. Chances are with four people on the flop someone else has an ace too. In hindsight you could have value-bet more, but that would result based poker. Way to much action here to value-bet. To answer the question. Pocket Jacks and sixes kill your hand as much as aces. I would have feared a big hand like a set of jacks based on the action.

Looks fine, once he 3 bets the turn I have to call down and seriously start to worry about aces or jacks.
