I think we have to bet this flop. Would 15-20 be about right or do you guys bet differently?

I don't think a flop bet of 20-25 commits you to play for your whole stack. If you bet 20 you will still have almost 70 left. If the button (or MP2) raises I think you can safely fold your hand. If you get called you're probably done with the hand unless you hit a Q. If you don't bet this flop the button will probably bet a missed AK as well as AA/KK and you have no clue where you stand.

Betting 20-25 puts 33-38% of my stack in the pot. I think I'm committed at that point.

Default Results.

I decided to check and see what villain did. He bet and MP2 called. Weak tight me decided that I couldn't beat both of them and folded. I thought about checkraising all-in if MP2 folded. Like I said, I was lost. Button had AJ and I'm outplayed and pwned.

Hero checks, Button bets $20, MP2 calls $20, Hero folds.

Turn: ($86.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP2 checks, Button checks.

River: ($86.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP2 checks, Button bets $20, MP2 calls $20.

Final Pot: $126.50

Results:
MP2 has Th Ts (one pair, tens).
Button has Jh As (one pair, jacks).
Outcome: Button wins $126.50.

AJo seems like a strange hand for a 19/4/1 to reraise pf, how many hands did you have on him?

I think you need to be prepared to fight for this big pot; you're probably ahead, but you need to be the aggressor on the flop

I disagree. If you are almost sure you're behind if he raises you I can't see a reason for pushing the rest of your stack knowing you have to hit your 2-outer. If you think Villain is capable of making a play with TT/JJ or just overcards then I can see a case for committing your stack. Anyway, a 1/2 pot flop bet would most likely have won you this pot and will do so more than the required 33% to break even.

i'd bet the flop. I'd go around $35 I guess. If he raises me then I have to make a decision, but i'm just about never folding an overpair that is QQ+ at these levels.

If you bet 35, there's no decision after that, right (given stack sizes)?
