Default Hand Converter and HUD, Donations.

AFAIK, poster Roland is currently keeping the hand converter updated, and also has built a HUD for those playing on party. I think it'd be cool if some of us shipped him a little bread here and there for his contributions.

Roland are you interested in this? I suppose people could transfer you some $$ on party or something like that.

Thanks Beer.

I haven't really done much to the hand converter (mostly because I don't have a clue about VBScript), and it wouldn't be right to accept donations for what is pretty much 100% greenage's work.
If someone wants to donate for StudHud though, I'd much appreciate it. (PM me for the details).

OK, but who is doing the maintenance on the converter? To be honest, I never really thought of giving donations for this sort of things, because it just hadn't entered my mind, but it seems totally reasonable. I think we all enjoy having hands presented in a neat orderly fashion, and certainly people are profiting from your HUD.

Well like I said, I didn't really do much and may not be able to do much in the future either (although I'd be interested).
If you want to donate, give something to greenage, who definitely deserves it.

I changed the link in the converter, and I'm hosting it out of the kindness of my heart, so if anyone wants to make a generous donation to the Get Andy B Back in Action Fund, have at it.

At some point, one of these sites is going to alter the format of their hand histories such that the current converter won't work, and I think that this will eventually require the attention of someone who knows visual basic. I could probably figure it out, but I don't have the time or the inclination these days. Hopefully, someone will step forward.

Actually, I would be willing to support the converter again if some donation money came in ($5/$10 range?).

I left the Stud forum mostly because I went BUSTO. It seems I have a problem playing higher than my bankroll, which was a perennial problem.

I know I’ve been flaky about this thing, but I’ve also found out that I miss working on it. I’m working on a HORSE converter that looks good so far.

Anyway, if anyone would like to donate you can PM me for details.

I wonder what that's like.

I can probably scrape five bucks together, but you'll have to wait until payday.

Someone tell me how to get the hand history out of a Full Tilt window. I tried for the first time to post a HH, but when I right click nothing happens. Grateful for any help.

Do you still need a monitor? If so, what are your preferences? I remember reading somewhere you had a Samsung. Amazon sells the 20" 204-B for $350 and the 21" 214-T for $660. I was planning to start up a "buy Roland a new monitor" thread in the software forums to see if I could get together enough contributions to get you something nice.
