I mean, what else do I do here?
I just sat down. I don't really have any other ideas but maybe there's a better standard line.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver) MP ($40.95) Hero ($48.25) Button ($52.95) SB ($26.45) BB ($34.30) UTG ($41.45) Preflop: Hero is CO with A, K. 2 folds</font>, Hero raises to $2</font>, 2 folds</font>, BB calls $1.50. Flop: ($4.25) 2, A, 9 (2 players)</font> BB checks, Hero bets $4</font>, BB raises to $8</font>, Hero raises to $46.25</font>, BB calls $24.30 (All-In). Turn: ($82.80) 4 (2 players, 1 all-in)</font> River: ($82.80) 3 (2 players, 1 all-in)</font> Final Pot: $82.80 Also is there a way to make those lameass color bracket things not show up? |

Re: I mean, what else do I do here?
when you convert the hand make sure your format is "twoplustwo" instead of "FlopTurnRiver"

Re: I mean, what else do I do here?
Why are you going to war with one pair on this board?
Against an unknown, I would just call the min-raise, lead a non-diamond turn and fold to a raise. |

Re: I mean, what else do I do here?
You gotta ask yourself, "What would a reasonable opponent call this bet with that I'm beating?"
I know it seems like you have a huge hand, but think about it...on this board you don't want to play a big pot. call the flop bet and see a turn. unless he's terrible, your push will only be called by something crushing you. |

[/ QUOTE ] Really? THis guy's sitting pretty short, so my first instinct is to assume he's bad. You really dont think he calls off with weaker aces thinking I'm semibluffing, or with a big diamond in the hole? Am I really out of my mind for expecting to be ahead here? If a flush draw can play this way, don't we have to put more money in on the flop? |

Re: I mean, what else do I do here?
I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] it. The little flop minraise on a monotone board means doodly-squat. My judgment may be impaired by my molten-hot hatred of shortstacks, but I'm pushing here exactly all the time. TPTK is teh nutz against shorties.
