Default How much action do you put in with a set of Kings?

Soo Villian is one of those 55/17/1 types over 250 hands.
Did I give too much action here. When in doubt I cap the turn and call a river bet.

What do you think mais menos or perfeito?

Cap the flop, cap the turn, maybe even a raise-call on the river.

In terms of combos, AA and AK are both equally likely for Villain once he 3-bets the turn (3 combos each). TT and 77 are also both possibilities (3 combos each), as is AT (9 combos, but they should probably be discounted). So the turn cap looks good to me.

You've gotta wonder why Villain isn't worried about QJ (16 combos on turn, 12 on river), because your hand looks a lot like it. Maybe it's the hand Villain is looking at himself. So that's a worry, despite Villain's OOP flop 3-bet and despite the fact that he's probably not a very good hand reader and might in fact play AT like this, and I become even more worried when Villain leads the river.

In any case, the river call looks good to me.

It looks like he likes his hand, why not cap the flop, too?

You played this hand well. Turn cap is standard. If the villain will play AK,AA,TT,77 this way every street up to the turn 3bet, you are still a 3-1 favorite, so I like the turn cap. I find It hard to believe the villain wouldve taken this line with QJ. River call is also standard.

i'm very close to wanting to yelling ONE TIE and raising the river but the downie QJ factor is just too high. just about perfect imo

Cap preflop? Or is this the new way to pay big hands HU?

I'd say you put too little action in preflop with the second best possible hand, too little on the Flop when you had the nuts, and too much on the Turn when you had the third nuts and were very possibly beat.

Capping the flop would have also made it easy to know to just call a raise on the turn.
