Put Villain on busted draw, called all-in river lead
Fresh at the table, UTG pushed me off of a couple of c-bets already.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Riddick ($59.40) Button ($48.25) SB ($9.70) BB ($102.15) UTG ($57.66) MP ($50) Preflop: Riddick is CO with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, Riddick raises to $2, 3 folds, UTG calls $1.50. (frustrated by all my c-bets being pushed around, optimistically putting him on heart draw or JT here) Turn: ($16.75) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG checks, Riddick bets $15, UTG calls $15. (nice, I picked up a club draw, plus he checked = zomg! weakness!, might be repping JT here to villain as well, I plan on pushing the river) River: ($46.75) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG pushes all in, Riddick calls $34.66. (put UTG on missed heart draw here, think he puts me on JT or two pair at worst and is trying to push me off of it, I def dont put him on a King) Final Pot: $81.41 Results forthcoming. |

Re: Put Villain on busted draw, called all-in river lead
If UTG tends to fight back at you post-flop, then why are you bloating the pot, in position, with a marginal hand like Q8s? Indeed, wouldn't it better, instead, to simply limp or fold preflop?

You think he's trying to push you off a straight?

Re: Put Villain on busted draw, called all-in river lead
Without reads, at a 50NL table the river is a fold. I think it is pretty rare an uknown is pushing a missed draw based on how the flop / turna ction went down, looks more like a value push.

You think he's trying to push you off a straight? [/ QUOTE ] This notion may be a holdover from my PLO days. Im getting the sense no one would do this in NLHE. |
