For the benefit of other posters, I should say that I was observing hero here. Pushing is not wrong per se but the other short stack here was an inferior player, showing bluffs at the wrong time and generally playing like a wazzock. None of the larger stacks were in any danger and none had, up to this juncture, seemed particularly keen to bring this thing to an end. Your image was not of someone tight and scared waiting for someone else to bust. We had just observed very cagey play from a big stack with bullets. Every time you had won some chips, and you just had the hand before, floating and then pushing to take the pot on the flop, the other short stack had appeared to panic and had started getting chips in. I felt that the table dynamic was just about right. One of the larger stacks was going to get bored and call, other SS was going to make a mistake.

Added to this, taking the blinds is obviously nice here but is it worth the risk when you are NEVER getting called by a worse hand at this table in this situation?
