Default NL200 KK facing a raised blank turn

Flop call was very quick - I wasn't convinced he really even had time to take in the size of my bet. Turn raise took him some time. I've been at the table a while, but nothing villain has done has really stood out - I think he has played fairly solidly so far.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

CO ($198.25)
Hero ($251.20)
SB ($119.70)
BB ($97.25)
UTG ($398.25)
MP ($240.85)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

MP checks, Hero bets $20, MP calls $20.

Turn: ($63) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $40, MP raises to $100...

This spot is always very opponent dependent. If he plays draws like this often enough stick it in. If not, fold. Without knowing, I usually err on the side of caution and shove, although the small size of the CR makes me unhappy about that (doesn't look like he's trying to max fold equity here).

While I hate folding overpairs, I really think villain has one pair beat and fold.

This is rarely a bluff. A set or Q10 is very likely here. You are rarely ahead.

So is this just one of those situations where you ignore the earlier action since nothing really adds up?

Hands that are ahead of me just don't make any sense to me with the preflop and flop action. Between the preflop limp/call and the flop instacall I was thinking he had AJcc or KQ or QJs, something like that. If those hands wanted to bluff c/r, I would expect a larger raise, though, so they don't make much sense either :/

I guess it bothers me that there are all these suggestions, but mostly without any stated idea of what we might be up against.

No other reads or stats? I think that would make this decision a lot easier.
