Default Buying a new monitor...some advice needed

Hi guys,

Looking to buy a new monitor, something like 21". Not really sure what features to look for (resolution, contrast ratio, brand...whatever). The price-range should be somewhere between $ 400-600.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks

looks really nice,

Is there a real difference between this one and the Dell, they have the same max resolution (1600 x 1200)...(this is where my expertise ends...) Are there any specific things I should look out for; its for MT purposes.

Thanks

I'm wondering the same. Is the Dell worth the extra ~100 more?

But wouldn't you guys prefer a 20" widescreen for MT?
I'm also in the market for a new tft, and was considering any of these:
Samsung 205bw 20" WS 1680*1050 €330
Samsung 204b 20" 1600*1200 €290
Samsung 225BW 22" 1680*1050 €430
Dell 2407 24" 1920*1200 €870

Right now I'm liking the 225BW the best, I want to multitable 3 tables at once. The 24" sounds nice, but I'm not sure if I need that much space, and offcourse the price tag matters too, otherwise I would have just bought a 30". So taking the price in consideration too, what would be the best monitor of these 4 for a 3 table multitable player?

kabouter, I'm pretty sure you want the 1600*1200, the others you listed with 1680*1050 don't have as much screen area when you put the resolution to the max.
