Default Best Place to live for Low Limit Hold\'em

For $10/20 and below. What is the best area to live in the USA, and be able to play a lot? I work international rotation 1 month on and 1 month off. I miss playing cards on my time off. We used to live in Mobile but got transferred back to Texas. It is too far to drive from North Houston to the boats to play - regulary.
We are just about to the empty nest part of our lives as the kids will soon be in college out of the house, and thus we can move as it does not matter where I live.
Thanks, gamboolman....

Vegas or California (anywhere there is a cardroom). Low limits run around the clock in both places. LA sucks to live, Vegas sucks to drive.

i.e. correct answer would be Reno - except Reno doesn't get near the higher limit action that Vegas and Cali does. 10/20 is about as high as you can find in this city.

Gamboolman, this might boil down to where you and your significant other want to live, and be within reasonable distance of kids who have left the nest, but still want to be able to visit regularly.

Phoenix, Memphis-Tunica, and Seattle all come to mind.

There is also good low limit availability in places you might not suspect. Kansas City has four casinos, all with poker rooms. Even if you avoid Isle of Capri (some people do) that's still three rooms to play. Not advocating a move to KC just for poker, but it is an example of what's out there.

Not to mention Miami, OK----a tiny town off the interstate with three poker rooms.

The tribal and riverboat casinos, combined with poker's popularity, have really expanded availability of the game at low limits. I'd look around a bit, and find something that works for you. Might be the usual places, might be somewhere else.

If that's a factor, forget MPLS. Canterbury Park is a great low limit venue but Winter sucks.

It's been a while since I've been to Phoenix. But it was great 10 years ago. I think Tunica is great as well.
