There is a strong possibility that I am being a pussy because I moved up in stakes. No reads. No notes or anything. I just started these stakes and this site.

Should I have pushed this?

No, not at level 2, just call and play for set value/play an overpair carefully.

WTF, it's 90 more for you to call and you fold JJ? That's insane. I call any pair for set value here, and i definately call JJ. This is an awful fold.

I'm totally aware of that. In the heat of the game I thought it was more than a 2x raise. I'm just getting used to the different numbers on Party.

I guess I should have asked instead, had it been a bigger raise as I mistakenly thought it was, do you still flat call for set value or try to take the pot down right now?

It depends on what you mean. If the blinds were still 20/40 (making this a 3x raise), calling would still be best. Had MP2 raised to t180 and CO called, there would be more than t400 in the pot, making this a definite push for me. It all depends on how many chips are already in the middle, and how big your stack is.

I still call the huge raise and re-evaluate. If it's something silly like 400 or more, I would think I would push against a known maniac.
