Default 6 dollar party speed sng was it correct to push?

PartyPoker $6 Regular Tournament, Big Blind is t800 with t25 antes (3 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

Button (t3851)
SB (t6727)
Hero (t9422)

Preflop: Hero is in BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Button calls t800, SB folds, Hero raises to t9422 (All-in), Button calls t3851 (All-in)

was it correct to push here or should i just check it?

I would just check it, but say the button had pushed, he needs to have a push range greater than 13% to call it. If he had a decent hand he probably would have raised, but sometimes players try to get cute. So your push is probably profitable, but I'd still wait for a better spot.

I think the push is fine against him. I wouldn't do that against the SB though. I was gonna say you need to be careful because the limp is very suspicious but then I realized it was a $5+1

Seems pretty standard to me.

Read-dependent, I generally push here more than I check.

I see a lot of weaker players limping this with weak suited hands and folding to any raise; however, occassionally people will limp AA,KK etc in which case you're a huge dog.

If i were holding a higher pp like 77-10 10 I might put in a minreraise knowing that i could fold if he came over the top.

It's a 6... you can fold to first. :P

I'd fold. There are calling stations at the 11s, the 6s are nothing but (I ground out my original bankroll there, the rake kept most people that'd lower my ROI away). You'll always get a flip, at best. Just push the next two hands with any decent holding.
