Default Venetian is my favorite poker room

Came back from Vegas a week ago. Despite being on a terrible losing streak, I have to say that I was really impressed with the Venetian poker room. For 1/2 NL, they give $3 an hour, and for 2/5 NL they give $4.5 an hour!
Great comps! I also got some promotional stuff from them. Some woman who I was playing 1/2 NL with, was telling me she is incharge of marketing for the room. I got a Venetian poker room hat and card protector from her.

The decor is great in this room. If you are going to Vegas, you should check it out. They don't have the higher limits yet, hopefully soon. They are still having trouble getting 15/30 and higher. Some of the staff told me that they get 40/80 on weekends. It never happened, but it may in the future.

When I was in Vegas back in May the 40 didn't seem to have any trouble going. Is it actually having problems going these days? I'm planning to head to Vegas soon and I really liked the room and was hoping to spend some time there. I'm not such fan of the B, though the action is great, but I'm also not teribly interested in games below 30/60. The one anoying nit problem I had with the Venitian was the stupid jackpot screen kept popping up over the wait list right before it would switch to the list I was interested in.

I was there over labor day weekend, and there weren't any limit games higher than 15-30

I think it's the nicest poker room I've seen, just in terms of how much space there is.

The floor was great.

I thought the dealers, almost as a rule were a little too chatty and I wasn't blown away by them, but none were horrible.

I played some very enjoyable 6/12 Mixed Games there one night during the WSOP. The floor and dealers were all very friendly and accomodating, the room is spacious, and I also got a cool card protector. I highly recommend it.

There was one dealer I didn't like. I can't remember her name, but she was an older lady, a little chubby and had glasses. She was very moody

Jeff, FWIW, the 40 regulars were telling me it's at Venetian every night when I was there 2 weekends ago.
