I've been playing pretty LAG but haven't shown down real akward stuff. What do you put him on and how likely is my hand still best?

Based on what we know, I'd give you 25-1 on him bluffing a missed draw like 7 9 J Q, and about the same on 8 10 x x

I don't understand how the SB suddenly has position on you.

I don't understand how the SB suddenly has position on you. [/ QUOTE ] converter messed up. There was no SB posted in this hand because someone busted in the previous one. So where it says SB in the OP it should have said Button. |

Probabally a bluff or something with a duece... maybe 2 pair. Sucks if he is bluffing with the NFD draw though. If he is straight forward though he probabally checks behind hoping his A is good unless his kicker really sucks.

Why not bet the turn, you have enough outs to call a reraise?

Why not bet the turn, you have enough outs to call a reraise? [/ QUOTE ] because that would suck? you win this way too rarely, even his bluffs mostly have an ace. edit: although I pretty much suck at PLO, but then again I can't be *that* wrong about the bluff part... |

Why not bet the turn, you have enough outs to call a reraise? [/ QUOTE ] I didnt want to bet turn, i already regretted my flop bet slightly right when i made it. Obviously i have a good hand, but if i'm getting it in on the flop i am very often against the nutflush draw, and that draw already has my pair beat and leaves me drawing pretty thin. Then again, two pair, straigt wraps or a set probably raise often enough to make the flopbet right. It's kind of edgy though. I wanted to check/raise turn, or see it checked through, both seemed fine for me. Bet turn is the worst option I think, then check/call which seems a bit weak. When he bet on the river, it was pretty clear he didn't have an ace: the Ace high flush draw raises the flop, and other aces check this river for sure. Results: he showed K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and MHIG |
