Good $40/80 game online. Villain in the hand is aggressive but by no means good. He probably thinks the same about me. He opens in the 2 hole and I decide to just call with AA in the big blind.
T32 flop with 2 hearts. I checkraise, he 3 bets and i just call. Turn is an offsuit 9 and I bet trying to get him to raise me again but instead he just calls. River is the 4 of hearts. I bet, he raises, I 3 bet and he caps. I call. Did I screw this up on the river? |

I will usually try for a turn c/r rather a bet/3bet on the turn but that's fine.
Don't 3 bet the river. i just call the raise. A river K or something and I might like your player, but that's a bad river for it IMO. |

Is the 10 on the flop a ten of hearts? Do you have the Ace of hearts?
Generally I think the river is bet/call. If you just call the flop 3-bet then c/r turn. Otherwise, cap flop and go from there. |

River is the 4 of hearts. I bet, he raises, I 3 bet and he caps. I call. Did I screw this up on the river? [/ QUOTE ] I think this is a classic case of FPS. You already concealed you're hand with the smooth call preflop. I'd cap the flop, bet turn, and bet & call river raise. However, I do like your line but would just bet/call river. Takes some big monkey balls to cap w/just top pair on the river if player is capable of going that bananas. |

I would cap the flop and lead 3 bet the turn if a good card comes. I would definitly just call the river. Looks very consistent with how a flush would be played.
