Default PP 50 NL 6 max 99

I had a note on villain in this hand that said "Raised flop w/underpair." This made me think there was a pretty good chance I was ahead. I hate pushing this flop though, because it makes the hand pretty easy to play for him (though there's some chance he folds TT or JJ). But I don't want to let him see the turn or the river for too cheap. Any suggestions for an alternate line?

Rebuy pf. I dont really like the push since he's folding a lot of hands that you beat. I would try something fancy like min-raise him back.

i think he generally folds all hands you beat right now and calls with hands that have you beat. there are better ways to extract imo, one being calling the flop and leading the turn.

I prefer pushing because it forces overcard hands to make mistakes, plus you aren't playing a guessing game OOP on the turn.

you allow him to play almost perfectally with overs here. another option is to call and c/r the turn ai (blank turn of course) if you truly think your hand is best.

Yeah, I agree that what you're saying is theoretically better...I just pussy out when I'm OOP. Any overcard makes me want to kill myself on the turn so that's why I want to get my money in now.

All,

Thanks for the comments, but please reread my initial post. I realize that the problem with pushing the flop is that it makes villian's decision easy. I posted this hand because I was looking to see if others had any alternate lines for this kind of situation.

i said that calling Miniraise and leading turn or c/r-ing turn are both fine options.
