Default Pukesville USA

Full Ring....Villain is very nitty, like 14-4 over 6K hands,he will open up standards when folded to him in CO or Button but thats about it. He's the type who regularly limps AK in EP but rarely with big pairs. He probably thinks im pretty LAGgy for a fullring player as im open raising 2.5-3XBB from any position with almost anything suited, but playing straightforward postflop but alot of my cheezball hands have been showndown.

well we all know that u called, and we all know u lost because u posted it. I woulda called too, but not liked it v much.

If u want better answers we need to know how he plays postflop as well as pre.

He's pretty solid, rarely goes to felt with overpairs besides vs short stacks. He'll C-Bet alot of the time and almost always shut down on turn if he's got air, pretty pridictable overall...

if he's never opening Ax utg where he could hit 2pr here i think it's a spot where you *could fold...though while playing it's almost impossible to lay it down with the short time alloted on party. from the way you describe him, his hand is AA here a lot of the time...maybe 99 (would he open utg with 99 at 14/4?) maybe getting frisky with Ax of clubs...depends on your read.

Uhh, if he checks the turn a standard river bet would be 400 dollars. The question should be "are you raising the river bet?"

It has got to be a higher set. What else would he play this "aggressively" with? I agree with Gary. You make it sound like two pair is not in his range. I instacall turn because it's soooo cheap and maybe he'll check to you or bet weak on river; just because you call turn shouldn't really have much bearing insofaras what you decide to do on the river since his bet is pretty large and seems to scream that you're beat the great majority of the time. 14.x/4 is extremely nitty. Somebody like that doesnt play AK, 2 pair this way nearly often enough unless you have a super awesome table image.
