Posting Picks Rules: Updated 4/2/06: Please read!!
Due to the numerous complaints about the new moderation policy we are changing the picks posting rules a little bit:
1) You have the choice of doing either a weekly thread or a daily thread with your picks. No more of the gigantic season long threads. 2) Please include your YTD record updated on a daily basis (or whenever you start your NEW thread). Do not include parlays, teasers, etc... in this record. Keep them in a seperate record. 3) Please post all of your bets before game time. Any picks you post after game time will not count towards your record. Also, when you make a pick or picks throughout the day, please post the line that is currently available, not what you bet it at. This will help prevent people saying that a line wasn't available. 4) Please include your YTD units won/lost as well updated daily (Or, once again, whenever you start your NEW thread). Once again, do not include parlays, teasers, etc... in this units W/L record. We would appreciate it if you kept a weighted and unweighted record, but we will not require that until the beginning of the baseball season where W/L record is not nearly as important as the amount W/L. 5) Others may comment in your thread; in fact, we highly encourage this. We do wish that there was also analysis with your picks, but we are not going to require this. We know that sometimes you are in a rush, etc... and don't have time to post your reasoning. But, once again, we highly encourage analysis. We are all (we hope) here to learn and a list of picks (even with a well documented winning record) is only part of the equation. Please adhere to the above rules when posting your picks. |
