Live 20/40 Turn against a couple donks
MP is unknown but in the half hour I’ve seen him he has called three cold with A4s and 55 and played passively post flop. Button is a pretty clueless LAG who earlier three bet me on the button with 56s.
I open red Q’s UTG+1. MP calls, button calls, blinds call. Flop is T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Blinds check, I bet, MP and button call. Blinds fold. Turn 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I bet, MP calls, Button raises, I three bet (?), MP calls, button caps, I fold. Like it? Hate it? Calling down better after the turn raise? Results in white MP had 9Ts and button had 45s. River was a blank and went check check. MP's bigger two pair was good. |

Re: Live 20/40 Turn against a couple donks
i like it. charging draws and seeing where your at for same price as calling down w/o charging draws. looks like he has a set, but it would suck if he has 2 pair, because then you folded turn incorrectly.
so only adjustment would be if you thought he has 2 pair often enough to call turn and fold river UI. |

Re: Live 20/40 Turn against a couple donks
I dont like taking any line that leads to a fold against this guy so I think your 3bet/fold to a cap is bad. Just call the turn raise.

I just call down the turn. If I 3-bet I would still call down.
