Everyone read please I need your advice!

Hey guys,

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. I am 16 years old and I have been playing online for just about 1 year now. Ive been playing many hours a week and I just busted. I lost over $5-7k now. I dont know wether I should quit or strive to be a better player. My game has really improved, and I think I am really good for my age. Should I just focus on school and getting into a good university now, or should I strive to do better, and keep playing. I was thinking about quiting until I'm 19 and saving up all my money for now. What do you guys think should I keep working on my game. Thanks 2+2

You probably should quit until you're of age just because it's a violation of the terms of service of wherever you're playing and if they find out they will close your account and take your money and you will have no recourse.

Chances are that won't happen.

There is absolute no reason why you couldn't play online, work on your game, AND pay attention to your schoolwork and getting into a good college.

First of all if you're really 16 and have lost that much money you should probably enroll yourself in gamblers anonymous. You have a serious problem to be losing that much money at your age.

If you're seriously considering not focusing on school versus playing online poker you have a serious priority issue. Go talk to your parents about what you've done because that would have been money you could have used to go to school with.

If I were you I'd quit all together and focus on school.
