What's the plan? [/ QUOTE ] Am I missing something? You have a straight to the ace, a draw to the nut flush, a royal flush draw, and are only behind to QQ, JJ, KK, KQ, QJ, the first three of which are extremely unlikely due to the fact that villian didn't cap preflop. You are also playing this hand against an aggressive opponent who is clearly willing to throw chips in the pot. Raise! If the river comes K,Q, or J except Jh then c/c, otherwise continue to fire. |

Re: Straight meets resistance from possible blind steal
I would just call preflop. But that doesn't matter. On the turn I think you must reraise.

Re: Straight meets resistance from possible blind steal
3-bet, he could be raising a [censored] of hands here. We are ahead of a lot of hands. I also don't mind calling and c/ring a safe river card.

[/ QUOTE ] I like the preflop raise; villian is raising 13% of his hands in a full ring game so we can safely assume that ATs is going to be in the upper portion of his blind stealing range. I think this is a good raise for value. |

Hero is BB. I still like the raise, though.
